We received the new design on a PCB on a tray connected with “mouse bites”. Successful inspection of the PCB with a 20X microscope.

We used our satellite model to send packets with -10 dBm, which is only 0.0001 watts. In space, we will send with 20 dBm, which is 1000x more powerful.

The IMU is a crucial component for attitude determination. We use the new TDK “ICM-20948” Integrated circuit, which has Nine-Axis (Gyro + Accelerometer + Compass).
The initial idea was, that very small satellites may become possible through the recent avancements in microelectronics. While we planned that all satellites are the same, we now love the modularity of payload module separation, to enable custom payloads
